I’ve always been drawn to people who create, who perform, who spend hours perfecting their craft behind the scenes. Dancers, musicians, performers – the ones who live and breathe their art. The studio becomes our shared stage, a place to honour that work and capture it in its rawest, most refined form.

Studio work is where I get to combine precision with creativity – sculpting with light, chasing emotion, telling stories. It’s honest and focused. It’s artful and editorial. It’s what I love.
Whether it’s a ballet dancer in mid-pirouette, a hip-hop artist hitting their mark, or a musician simply being still in their own rhythm – I love creating portraits that feel powerful and cinematic, that say something about who you are and everything you’ve put into your journey.

My Place to Create

I shoot both digitally and on film – including large format film, which brings a richness, depth, and slowness that suits the studio perfectly. There’s something grounding about slowing down, working with strobes and soft boxes, and building light piece by piece. It becomes a collaboration between artist and artist.
